Hello every body. My name is Sherry and for the ones who do not know about my roof saga let me start out by starting from the beginning.

the moisture level meter normally determines moisture level readings into wood or sheet rock that has pin like needles on the end of it and is intrusive which means it is inserted into the sheet rock or wood to determine the wetness of the object to determine if it needs to come out or can it be dried out.

In the midst of my latest insurance battle, David Snell was trying to reassure me when he offered some additional advice based on his 23 years of experience. where has communication gone in our country between the client and the company?
why is it so difficult for the company to reach out to the client either by email or a simple phone call to communicate what is going on with the job?
the biggest complaint i get after being in business since 1987 from clients is that most companies do not reach out to communicate to the client. my question is this.
why is this so difficult for a company to do?

Use a black light or use a urine detector.
Do I have to get rid of my padding if I have urine damage?
It would be a good thing to do this. Padding is very inexpensive.
You should also have the carpeting cleaned by a professional and have the carpeting treated with an enzyme to digest the urine.
The next day have the carpet flushed with white vinegar.

Why Don’t People Call You Back????
I needed a mover last weekend to move two pianos for the church. I left about 8 messages via email on Thursday because I needed them moved on Saturday. Would you believe some just called me back today?????

Help! I just noticed that my crawl space is full of water and full of mold.
What do I do and what are my options.
1/ call up a licensed electrician or just turn off your breakers for power to your hvac if it is under your home.
Call up a certified mold inspector who is certified in mold inspections and mold remediation and who has at least 5 years in the water damage and mold industry.
2/ extract the water using a sump pump below your home
3/ spray a product into your crawl space that will destroy the mold
4/ dry out your crawl space using air movers and dehumidifiers
5/ take all safety measures while working in your crawl space such as using a respirator and full body suit and gloves and boots so you will not get muddy.
6/ take out your old vapor barrier and let the ground dry out in your crawl space.
7/ spray the ground with a anti microbial application.
8/ We do not recommend that you handle mold remediation or mold clean up but recommend that you leave it up to the experts who know their stuff and know their business

Regarding: mold in my truck
I just found out that I have mold in my Toyota Truck and it is only 4 years old.
How could I get mold in my truck for a truck that is only 4 years old? The gasket was loose around the front widow of front windshield and water got in when it would rain or the truck was washed. Another way for mold to start growing is for one to leave the windows down in the vehicle.

Fire, Smoke and Water Damage
Many years ago my neighbor’s house caught on fire because of a faulty fireplace. It nearly burned to the ground because of dangerous road conditions (lots of snow and ice) and a slow response from the local fire department. But that’s a whole other story.
I’ll never forget helping them salvage what belongings they could and then helping carry them across the street to a neighbor’s garage. When I entered the house, the stench of smoke was overwhelming.
